After spending decades trying to decrease majoritized voices in the curriculum– we’re still faced with many new laws looking to eradicate inclusion.
But, when we eliminate queer, indigenous, & other minority stories from the curriculum– children won’t be able to see themselves in the content in front of them.
Every child deserves to have role models to look up to, have the truth presented to them, & create their own perception of the world.
